WINTERFIELD
Songs Written Like Letters Home.
Winterfield is a folk project rooted in pioneer heritage, poetry, and faith—quiet songs of love, loss, and belonging carried across generations.
What is Winterfield?
Winterfield is not a genre—it’s a place. A folk project rooted in pioneer heritage, poetry, and faith. These are quiet songs of love, loss, and belonging—written slowly, and meant to be listened to the same way.

SHE IS FIRE
February 6 | Pre-Save
Listeners may know Paul Cardall for instrumental music, but long before that, he was writing lyrics—an oldest son in a family of eight, piled into a station wagon, six-hour camping drives in the ’70s, and one cassette on repeat: John Denver. Those songs, and the stories carried with them, tend to stay.
She Is Fire grows out of that inheritance—a poem about a marriage, set to warm acoustic guitar and an intimate vocal. It’s a different room than Cardall’s piano work, but shaped by the same quiet devotion: restrained, human, and meant to be listened to closely.
